1. General

This Policy explains whether the sahteavci.com website and the «SahteAvcı» extension use cookies or similar technologies for storing data in the user's browser.

2. The website does not use tracking cookies

sahteavci.com consists of static pages. It does not set cookies — its own or third-party — for analytics, advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking. There are no advertising networks, tracking pixels or web beacons on the site.

2.1. Technical cookie used when submitting forms

The forms on the website are processed by server-side scripts. When a form is submitted, the server may set a technical session cookie needed to process the request correctly and to protect against repeated and automated submissions.

Such cookies are strictly necessary: without them the service requested by the user cannot be provided. No consent is required for their use. They contain no personal data, are not used for tracking, and are deleted when the browser is closed.

3. Browser storage

The website does not use localStorage or sessionStorage to track users. The technical mechanisms used by the search library hosted on the same domain serve solely to operate the search function and do not create user identifiers.

The extension stores data in browser mechanisms (chrome.storage.local, IndexedDB), which are not cookies, are not accessible to websites, are not shared across domains and cannot be used for cross-site tracking.

4. Cookieless analytics

Plausible Analytics is used to measure visits. It sets no cookies, stores no information on the user's device, creates no persistent identifiers and does not track users across sites. Data are processed on servers located in the European Union.

Plausible processes the IP address and browser information transiently for the sole purpose of generating an anonymised daily identifier for the visit; the original values are not retained and cannot be reconstructed. The resulting statistics are aggregate: number of visits, pages viewed, country, device type and traffic source.

Legal ground: the operator's legitimate interest in measuring audience and site performance (Art. 5/2-f KVKK; Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Users may object to this processing by writing to info@sahteavci.com.

5. Google Fonts

The site's design uses fonts loaded from Google servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). No cookies are set, but when a page loads, the user's IP address and technical browser information become available to Google LLC (United States).

Legal ground: the operator's legitimate interest in consistent presentation of the site. Processing by Google is governed by its own privacy policy.

6. What the website does not include

advertising networks, advertising cookies or retargeting;
social media pixels or embedded YouTube or Vimeo players;
content delivery networks (CDNs) that set their own cookies;
payments or payment forms — subscriptions are taken out in the extension, not on the website;
profiling, visitor scoring or automated decisions about website users.

7. Why there is no consent banner

The consent requirement applies to storing information on the user's device or accessing information already stored there, except where this is strictly necessary to provide the service the user has requested. As the site uses only strictly necessary technical cookies, and analytics operate without accessing information on the device, no consent banner is displayed.

If cookies or other technologies that are not strictly necessary are introduced in future, they will be used only after obtaining the user's explicit consent, given by a separate action for each category. Formulations such as «by continuing to browse you accept cookies», pre-ticked boxes and consent obtained together with the privacy notice will not be used: under Principle Decision No. 2026/347 of the Personal Data Protection Board dated 18 February 2026, the notice and consent are drawn up and presented separately.

8. Managing cookies

Users may manage cookies in their browser settings: reject them, delete those already stored and prevent new ones from being set. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the website forms from working.

9. Changes and contact
