This document is issued separately from the Privacy Notice (Aydınlatma Metni) in accordance with Principle Decision No. 2026/347 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board, dated 18 February 2026, which prohibits presenting a privacy notice and an explicit consent text together.
Giving consent is entirely voluntary and is not a condition for receiving the service. The core features of the extension — local scanning of listings, keyword-based detection, identification of Unicode homoglyphs and Turkish counterfeit slang, price anomaly analysis, perceptual image matching and the creation of evidence packages — work without any consent being given. Enquiries through the website forms likewise require no consent.
Withholding consent in whole or in part does not result in the service being refused, does not worsen its terms and does not restrict access to it.
Each item is confirmed by a separate action — a separate checkbox. Combining several purposes into a single confirmation is not permitted. No box is pre-ticked. Consent is given freely, in relation to a specific matter, and on the basis of the information set out in the Privacy Notice.
☐ I consent to the product title and description — and, where the visual analysis feature is used, also the product images — being transmitted directly from my browser to the provider I select (OpenAI, Anthropic or Hugging Face) using the API key I supply, when I use the artificial intelligence analysis feature.
I have been informed that I obtain and pay for the API key myself, that the controller does not store the transmitted content and has no access to it, and that the artificial intelligence features are not required for the extension to operate.
☐ I consent to the data referred to in Consent 1 being transferred to servers located outside Türkiye, in the United States of America.
I have been informed that the Personal Data Protection Board has not published a list of countries providing an adequate level of protection; that the recipient country may not offer a level of protection equivalent to that provided under Law No. 6698; that the controller does not rely on an undertaking (taahhütname) or on the standard contract announced by the Board for this transfer; and that the transfer is made solely on the basis of this consent under Article 9 of the KVKK.
☐ I consent to the details of my enquiry — the brand name, the description of the alleged infringement and my contact details — being shared with an independent law firm in Türkiye so that it may consider whether to provide me with legal assistance.
I have been informed that the controller does not provide legal services, that any engagement for legal services is entered into directly between me and the relevant law firm or lawyer, and that the controller is not a party to that engagement.
☐ I consent to receiving commercial electronic messages from SahteAvcı — newsletters, announcements of new features and special offers — at the email address I have provided.
This consent is registered with the Message Management System (İleti Yönetim Sistemi, İYS) in accordance with Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce and the Regulation on Commercial Communication and Commercial Electronic Messages. Consent may be withdrawn at any time and free of charge through the İYS, via the opt-out link included in every message, or by writing to info@sahteavci.com.
Replies to a user's enquiry and messages relating to the performance of the contract are not commercial electronic messages and are sent irrespective of this consent.
Consent may be withdrawn at any time, in whole or in part:
Withdrawal takes effect for the future and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it. Following withdrawal, the relevant processing ceases and, unless another legal ground applies, the data are erased, destroyed or anonymised within the periods set out in the controller's personal data retention and destruction policy.
